Dear Friends,
It is with great joy that we invite you to a special evening of Sadhusang and Baul music, to be held on Saturday, July 19 in Berlin.
This unique gathering is our humble tribute to the soulful philosophy and musical heritage of the Bauls—presented in an intimate and reflective setting, moving beyond conventional performance formats into a deeper dialogue between singers and listeners.
"Atmotattva", or the philosophy of the self, is central to Baul tradition. It is the spiritual journey of knowing oneself and merging with the Supreme Being. Through songs and stories, we aim to bring forth this profound worldview—the Baul's way of seeing the world and searching within.
You, your family, and friends are warmly invited to be part of this soulful evening of Bengali folk culture, mystical philosophy, and heartfelt music.
This is not just a concert—it is a gathering of kindred spirits, where music serves as the bridge, and human connection is the destination.
In today’s fast-paced and increasingly restless world, we hope to create a small pause—a space to reflect on the self, on stillness, and on what it means to be truly present. Let us gather to listen, to sing, and to feel together.
Your presence will make this gathering meaningful.
As part of the evening, we will serve a lovingly prepared selection of traditional vegan Bengali food—a gesture of hospitality in the spirit of Baul’s Sadhushango Sheba.
Entry Fee: €10 (includes vegan Bengali dinner) (free for children under 10 years)
Date & Time: Saturday, July 19 | 6:00 PM
Venue: Haus der Jugend Mitte, Reinickendorferstr. 55, 13347 Berlin
